Luciatåg Charity Concert for Holy Family Hospital
On December 14th, the Catholic Cathedral of Stockholm hosted a beautiful Luciatåg, a cherished Swedish tradition during Advent. The event featured the talented choirs of Pueri Cantores Sweden, led by Elisabeth von Waldstein, whose blend of young children’s and young adults’ voices created a truly unique and moving experience.
This concert marked the fourth year of collaboration between Region Mälardalen and Pueri Cantores Sweden to raise funds for the Holy Family Hospital in Bethlehem. In these challenging times for the region, the hospital’s vital care for mothers and newborns relies heavily on such support.
The event was well attended, with the church almost full, and the generosity of the audience helped raise much-needed funds for the hospital’s work. Members of the Order, including Benedicta Lagervret, Benedicta and Ulf Lindberg, Erik Cimini, Claes Lagergren, and Joakim Bergman, warmly welcomed visitors and distributed information on how to contribute further.
This evening of music and togetherness reflected the true spirit of Advent, bringing light and hope to those in need. Many thanks to all who participated and supported this important cause!
